Zhuang Xiaohua, BA, Associate Professor, originally chosen as school teaching supervisor before being appointed chairman of the school trade union. Majored in English and graduated from the school of foreign languages, SWPU in 1982; after entering Wuhan Textile University in 2001, further study in major cities for a refresher course in China. In 2015, received the invitation letter from Indiana State University, and nearly won the scholarship from China Scholarship Council to visit the United States as a visiting scholar for half a year. It was a pity to fall that trip because of the age. Research interests and directions mainly cover foreign literature, Chinese and foreign comparative literature, translation and so on; research direction also focuses on the study of second language acquisition, translation teaching, foreign literature and social constructivism translation teaching theory and translation of classics. Now engaged in the basic teaching work of English education, mainly teaching English translation, college English, teaching postgraduate English, oral English training, public elective courses of appreciation and reading skills in English, Chinese and foreign literature history and fine appreciation of writers' works; also taught English translation, writing and grammar courses for dual degree English, as well as Band 4 and 6 tutoring lectures. Furthermore, presided over several provincial teaching research project, in which one of them had been concluded with the financial aid, attended in an international conference, and showed PPT at the meeting, nearly 30 academic papers had been published, in which some of core papers on the press of important magazines, such as "Translations", "literature of the Times" and "journal of Central China Normal University", several papers in foreign English journals, deputy editor of College English Recitation, deputy editor of Action Research with one translation as well as actively declared the national projects many times.
